The City of Paris Museum of modern art invites you to explore the Spirit of electricity, a masterpiece by Raoul Dufy from the MAM collections. 

Exhibited in the heart of the museum, the Spirit of electricity (1937) is one of the largest paintings in the world. This composition of 250 wooden panels, measuring 600 m² and weighing nearly 10 tons, bears witness to the history of electricity and its applications, from the first observations to the most modern technical achievements.
